As the Shawwal moon was sighted on March 29, 2025 the UAE has officially declared Eid Al-Fitr on Sunday, March 30. The entire country is currently celebrating the moon night with great enthusiasm, some are out shopping, some are preparing for tomorrow and some are offering prayers of thanksgiving. After Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr is a special gift for Muslims, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Below are the official prayer timings for all emirates, along with key mosques and guidelines for worshippers.

The UAE’s Islamic authorities have confirmed the following Eid prayer timings (subject to slight local variations):

Key Mosques & Prayer Grounds

  • Dubai: Over 680 mosques & prayer areas (including 14 large Eid Musallas) will host prayers. Main locations:
    • Al Farooq Omar Bin Khattab Mosque
    • Grand Bur Dubai Masjid

How to Perform Eid Prayer (Salat Al Eid)

Eid prayer consists of 2 rak’ahs with additional takbirs (Allahu Akbar) being recited.

✔ Wearing clean clothes.

✔ Paying Zakat al-Fitr before the prayer.
